The attached NetSNMP.zip file includes a portable version of the Net-SNMP utility along with a preconfigured batch file for collecting SNMP walk data.

 

Please follow the steps below:

1. 1. Download NetSNMP.zip.
2. 2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a local folder.
3. 3. Open ExecuteWalk.cmd in a text editor. You will find a line similar to the following:

  .\bin\snmpwalk -v 1 -c public -On -Cc 172.x.x.x 1> .\model.txt

•       Replace 172.x.x.x with the IP address of the printer you wish to query.
•       Replace model.txt with the desired name of the output file.

1.       Save the changes and run ExecuteWalk.cmd (press Enter if prompted).

      The SNMP walk results will be saved to the output file you specified.

Please use this procedure whenever we request an SNMP walk file for one of your printers.
