A print management solution has become over the past years a solution that many Customers implement. From SMB Customer up to corporate account the concepts as secure printing, follow-me printing, tracking, print rules are concepts that many Customers know very well.
Today the majority of solutions are sold per license, with an on-premise installation; Customer needs to create an appropriate infrastructure in terms of servers, assigns technical resource, purchases license.
In the last 3 or 4 years, big organizations move the infrastructure from on-premise to the Cloud, this new design, called Infrastructure as a Service, cuts the relevant cost of hardware and software for the entire server, moving the cost to service. Also, on this new design the print management solution is still based on the license model, Customer should purchase the license and install on the infrastructure over the Cloud, he just moves from on-premise to the Cloud.
The market is asking a change of business model, so many software today switch from license cost to SaaS (Software as a Service) and Customer would like the concept of “pay as you go”.

How does it work?

1Public CloudCustomer that puts the Cloud as the centric business uses the first scenario, all the data are in the secure public cloud, the communication between the components are secured via SSL connection. The market for this business is the public hot spot or the hotel infrastructure where the user needs to print in the total mobility.

2Private CloudThe second scenario is used by large organization that uses their own private Cloud to deploy their own application or solution. In this case, SAFEQ CLOUD will be installed on-premise on the Customer’s private Cloud and has same functionality, same business model of Public Cloud model.

3Hybrid CloudThe third scenario is the most common, used from SMB market to Corporate Customers; it’s an innovative platform used by the Dealers to deploy the solution on an easy way with a new business model. In this case the components are two; the solution in the Cloud and a gateway to be installed in the Customer network

01Visibility (가시성)From the centralized Admin Console Dealers can run more Customers in full autonomy, create it and deploy the solution centrally.

02Transparency (투명성)On the Customer’s network, we will install an appliance gateway (available for Window/Mac PC in the future).

03Transparency (투명성)The gateway has three functions: link the local network printer, keep the print job and link the AD/LDAP for user authentication.

04Reduce waste (낭비 감소)From the central Console the administrator links the gateway and can perform all the activities to deploy the solution.

07No impact (제로 임팩트)We can add at the Core module a full-embedded license on the MFP in order to block all the functionality (copy, send2) and enable also the authenticating via badge reader.

08Green (친환경)In all case the license methods follow the rule of SaaS; the Customer will pay a monthly fee based on number of users or number of device connected to the system.
